How to build your Asian Spices & Pantry

Ok so guys I love Asian flavor profiles…love! So here are my easy, and useful methods on how to have the right spices and sauces to give your recipe that Asian twist. By having these spices/sauces, it will help you save money, be organized, cut down on your cooking time, and will build your wellth (yes I meant welth combination of wellness and health) by eating super healthy stuff that you love to eat!
So below are some of my TIPS on building your ASIAN PROFILE go-tos:
BASIC:
- Tamari Sauce, Soy Sauce, or What I use...the Low Sodium Bragg Live Foods Liquid Aminos Sauce
- Rice Vinegar
- Organic Red Chilly Pepper
- Organic Toasted Sesame Oil, I buy mine from Spectrum
- Black Pepper
- Ginger Root
- Ginger Powder
ADVANCED:
- Lemongrass Paste - if you like this flavor...I get the one by Gourmet Garden
- Scallions
- Vegan Fish Sauce
- Coconut milk
NEXT LEVEL:
- Tofu
- Bok Choi
- Napa Cabbage
- White Miso Paste
- Shiitake mushrooms
- Zero pasta
- Phad thai pasta
- Rice Paper Rolls
- Seaweed Wraps
- Edamame Noodles
Once you have some of these basic ingredients in your kitchen, it is easy to make anything with that flair...for example:
